While CLM-AI/ML and Legal AI/GenAI is still working at building a reliable reference these days, with many companies switching to another solution after failed 1st strike, IMHO custom IT integration or software engineering is still the key to success to build with off-the-shelf tooling and complement what large tooling cannot execute. Agility, RPA, custom tooling, best of breed. All of this requires the IT engineering background rarely seen in Legal counsel and Contract Manager originated from project field and that I am happy and proud to have, agile to put together the bricks to figure out the best solutions. Also, the tool is only a brick, expertise is key to bring the best out of it and not face heavy rejection and tiny % of tool leverage.
